These services are non-medical in nature and are designed to promote independence, inclusion, and full participation in everyday life.

What We Provide

Transportation support may include:

  • Access to Community Activities: Safe and reliable transportation to events, programs, and services in the participant’s local community
  • Travel Training: Guidance and hands-on support for participants (and family caregivers, if needed) to learn how to navigate public, informal, or community transportation options
  • Mobility Support: Help accessing transportation coordination services and mobility resources tailored to the participant’s needs
  • Orientation and Safety: Assistance using other senses or supports to move safely between locations when needed
  • Flexible Transportation Options:
    • Use of public, private, or community transportation providers
    • Mileage reimbursement for transportation provided by someone using their personal vehicle
    • Purchase of prepaid transportation cards or vouchers for convenience and access

These services are tailored to increase self-reliance and ensure participants can fully engage in their communities—on their own terms, at their own pace.
